The Kalamata region of Greece is famous for its olives. They’re celebrated for their sweetness, their rich flavor, and their deep, dark color. We’ve added the Kalamata Olive to our traditional Tiropita for a new flavor you’re sure to love. Combined with our Spanakopita and Tiropita, our newest “Party Pack” assortment gives you 12 handmade pieces of each appetizer for a total of 36 pieces.

Our Spanakoptia is a phyllo dough triangle filled with a mixture of spinach, feta and dry curd cottage cheese, eggs and fresh herbs; our Tiropita is also a phyllo dough triangle filled with a mixture of feta, cream and dry curd cottage cheeses, eggs and fresh herbs. Our new Tiropita with Mushrooms & Onions takes our Tiropita appetizer and adds the flavor of Shiitake and Button Mushrooms, along with sauteed White Onions.

All of Katina’s Greek Café products are frozen and ship via express delivery service to insure that product arrives in excellent condition. Orders are packed with dry ice in an insulated container for shipment. Some of the dry ice may have evaporated during shipment; this is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, appetizers should be immediately placed in your freezer until ready for baking. Appetizers should be stored in the aluminum shipping tray. Appetizers will keep for up to 3 months frozen. Do not thaw appetizers prior to baking; appetizers can go directly from freezer to oven.

Cooking Instructions

When using a Regular Oven:

Remove appetizers from aluminum shipping tray.
Place appetizers on a cookie sheet.
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.

When using a Convection Oven:

Remove appetizers from aluminum shipping tray.
Place appetizers on a cookie sheet.
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Note:

Appetizers should not be baked in a microwave oven.
